The postwar rise of prefabricated houses, which has began as the largest socialist experiment of Czechoslovakia in Zlín, influenced most of the current generation. The “block of flats” thus became a symbol of the era that postponed traditional craftsmanship and began mass production of houses, furniture, glass and other products. Traditional production of hand-blown, cut glass has been questioned and pressed glass and its mass
production has become an important part of the development of utility and art glass in the Czech Republic. The T06B project adopts the principles of prefabricated housing, sector furniture, stackable glass and transforms them into a cubic object. One element creates a new architecture in the interior as an imaginary invasive development with repetition.
