In the year 1974 Eric Favre, an employee of Nestlé, invented, patented and introduced the Nespresso system. In the same year Jaroslav Otruba signed his design to interior design competition for the subway line A in Prague. 42 years after these products were created, they are being merged together. In my installation at new Nespresso boutique I quote aesthetically significant and easily recognisable symbol of the capital of Czech Republic and the craftsmanship of Czech nation in the connection with exponentially growing brand of high quality capsule coffee.
